Festival « cinéMo’Bohême ligérienne »

French photographer and founder of the pubishing house « Maison Calmusséenne », Eric Morin, ask me to design a little A5 size book for the cultural festival «cinéMo’ Bohême ligérienne» that took place in the southern part of the Loire Valley in France.

« The train journey begins at Chamussay station, where the shadows of travelers blend with the rails, foreshadowing an uncertain fate. In the dizzying bustle of the Gare de l’Est, wandering souls lose themselves in a labyrinth of endless corridors. Across strange lands, the Prague station emerges as an enigma, its architecture evoking the mysteries of existence. Finally, in the icy isolation of the Kalda station, solitary figures blend into the endless landscape, searching for an elusive truth. »

What is cinéMo’?
The kinetics of words, or the living body of writing through all forms of cultural expression. Whether culinary, theatrical, scientific, or even literary, they carry and intertwine words. The focus here will be on the interaction between two worlds. From here, from there; what remains, what comes back to our memory after the journey when we name a country? This year, we will explore the sources of influence, the back-and-forth, between the country of Bohemia and the bohemian spirit. Eric Morin.

« Le voyage ferroviaire s’amorce en gare de Chamussay, où les ombres des voyageurs se confondent avec les rails, préfigurant un destin incertain. Dans le tumulte étourdissant de la gare de l’Est, les âmes errantes se perdent dans un dédale de corridors sans fin. À travers les terres étranges, la gare de Prague émerge telle une énigme, son architecture évoquant les mystères de l’existence. Enfin, dans l’isolement glacial de la gare de Kalda, les silhouettes solitaires se fondent dans le paysage infini, à la recherche d’une vérité insaisissable. »

Qu’est-ce que le cinéMo’ ?
La cinétique des mots, ou le corps vivant de l’écriture par tous les moyens d’expression culturelle. Qu’ils soient culinaires, théâtraux, scientifiques, voire littéraires, ils portent et croisent les mots. Il sera question ici d’interaction entre deux mondes.
D’ici, de là ; qu’est-ce qui nous en reste, qu’est-ce qui nous revient en mémoire après le voyage quand on nomme un pays ? Cette année, nous irons questionner les sources d’influence, les va-et-vient, entre la Loire et la Méditerranée.
