Ici bat la lumière – In the Heart of the Light

La prestigieuse Maison Mathieu Lustrerie m’a confié, aux côtés de John Briens, la conception du concept éditorial et de la maquette du livre « Ici bat la lumière – In the Heart of the Light ». L’impression a été réalisée avec le savoir-faire des presses de l’imprimerie Escourbiac.

« Mathieu Lustrerie – Ici bat la lumière » ne se contente pas de retracer l’histoire des lustres : il entraîne dans un univers où passion, héritage et maîtrise artisanale s’entrelacent. Depuis la fondation par Henri et Yvette Mathieu, poursuivie par leur fils Régis et aujourd’hui transmise à Inès, chaque génération perpétue l’art d’un objet intemporel, symbole du véritable luxe au même titre que la haute couture ou la joaillerie. Ce livre invite à pénétrer dans un écrin singulier, peuplé de créations qui ont illuminé palais royaux, réceptions présidentielles et intérieurs privés. The prestigious Maison Mathieu Lustrerie entrusted me, together with John Briens, with the conception of the editorial concept and the design of the book “Ici bat la lumière – In the Heart of the Light”. Printing was carried out with the expertise of Escourbiac’s presses.

“Mathieu Lustrerie – Ici bat la lumière” is far more than a history of chandeliers: it opens the door to a universe where passion, heritage, and craftsmanship intertwine. From the founding by Henri and Yvette Mathieu, carried forward by their son Régis, and now passed on to Inès, each generation preserves the art of an object that remains timeless—a true symbol of luxury, on par with haute couture and fine jewelry. This book invites the reader into a unique world, where creations have illuminated royal palaces, presidential receptions, and private interiors.
