Too Old to Die Young is the inaugural release on Edge of Chaos, the new label dedicated to contemporary jazz and improvised music, created as a side-label to Das Kapital Records. Conceived in close collaboration with Danish guitarist and composer Hasse Poulsen, the visual identity and graphic line of the label were designed by Christian Kirk-Jensen and his studio Danish Pastry Design.

With Too Old to Die Young, Jungle Money 4 delivers a powerful and uncompromising statement: six expansive pieces shaped by collective improvisation, tension, lyricism, and raw emotional presence. The prepared piano of Jan Kaspersen, the electric bass of Peter Friis-Nielsen, the dynamic drumming of Claus Bøje, and the guitar of Hasse Poulsen form a living conversation where no voice dominates and nothing is concealed. Recorded in Søllerød Præstegård during the spring of 2025, the album captures the intensity, fragility, and freedom of a generation of Danish improvisors — music suspended at the edge of chaos.
